Two of the biggest themes in the feedback we get about the existing Stripe Payments add-on, is that customers would love to:

• Get lower rates; and
• Get their money faster.

So, we’ve partnered with Stripe to provide this new payment add-on, which offers:

• Great processing rates
• Faster payouts, with money received the next business day!
• Easier reconciliation in Xero or QuickBooks

Regarding rates, specifically in Australia, Canada & New Zealand, we’re able to introduce a range of significantly lower processing rates, with the potential for substantial savings for businesses and/or their clients.

ServiceM8 Pay is still powered by Stripe, so if customers already have a Stripe account and use the Stripe Payments add-on, switching to ServiceM8 Pay will be straightforward — they'll just get an additional 'ServiceM8 Pay' account in their Stripe dashboard. We have a dedicated help article on how to switch from the ‘Stripe Payments’ to ‘ServiceM8 Pay’ add-on.

ServiceM8 Pay will be available in Australia, Canada, NZ, UK & USA.

We’ll be rolling out ServiceM8 Pay gradually to customers i.e. when available to a customer’s account, the ‘ServiceM8 Pay’ add-on will be visible in the Add-on Store.Going forward, brand new ServiceM8 accounts will only have access to the ServiceM8 Pay add-on.
